Looking for the best Fortnite loot spots for the latest version of the game? You've come to the right place.
In this article, we've taken a look at the best spots to get looted up as quickly as possible. We've picked a variety of places so that you can find an area that appeals to you the most.
These looting spots are usually less populated than places like Tilted Towers, so you can usually loot here without too much competition from other players. Some spots are designed for quickly getting good weapons in your hands, whilst others are better for collecting building materials.
Tomato Town is good for a number of reasons. Firstly, you can usually get geared up in Tomato Town without worrying about being shot straight away. You do get quite a few players landing at Tomato Town, but there are enough buildings around for you to find one that doesn't have a player in it most of the time.
The weapon spawns in Tomato Town are average, but once you've geared up, you can go into the tunnel next to Tomato Town to find even more loot.
Climb up the metal stairs in the tower to make your way to the top of the hill that the tunnel goes through. If you go slightly west from there towards Dusty Depot, you'll find lots of stone ready for the taking.
Once you've collected stone, you can drop down towards Dusty Depot and you'll find lots of large trees which are great for collecting up wood as quickly as possible.
If you want somewhere that gets little attention from other players, you should try looting Wailing Woods. Once again, the loot is fairly average, but Wailing Woods is jam-packed with trees. You can get full wood in just a minute or two.
Most of the weapon spawns are found within the small maze area in the center of wailing woods. There are some weapon spawns throughout the woods, but it's best to get the weapons in the center, collect wood, and then leave.
Once you've cleared out Wailing Woods, the shipping yard or Tomato Town can be great spots for getting more weapons.
Junk Junction is easily one of the most overlooked spots on the map. Not only does Junk Junction have lots of spots for collecting metal, but the place is usually packed with golden chests and weapon spawns.
You'll easily fill up your metal from the wrecked cars and piles of trash in Junk Junction, and it has one of the highest golden chest densities in Fortnite. Sometimes you'll find 5 or 6 chests in Junk Junction and the place is tiny.
Just pay attention to the safe area as you loot. The safe area is quite often as far away from Junk Junction as humanly possible.
Moisty Mires is like the upgraded version of Wailing Woods. Most of the trees in Moisty Mires are bigger, which means they give more wood per hit. There are also far more chests and weapon spawns in Moisty Mires.
The only thing that makes Moisty Mires less appealing is the fact that more players land here. You won't get loads of players, but you can usually expect 2 or 3 others in solos, or another team or two in squads.
Pay attention to the swampy areas in Moisty Mires - you walk very slowly in the swamp so make sure you don't get caught out in it by another player or team.
There are a few unnamed towns on the Fortnite map, one of which is above Flush Factory. This particular unnamed town is good because it has a lot of weapon spawns and quite a few golden chests.
You can usually find this place to be quite populated, so keep that in mind before you land here. You may have to engage in a fight or two before you get out of here alive, but it's a refreshing change to the chaoticness of Tilted Towers.
There's an unnamed area to the left of Moisty Mire that looks a little like a prison. This place can be an incredible spot to collect weapons. There are usually many golden chests here and even more weapon spawns.
You do get a lot of people landing here too, so keep that in mind. If you can manage to land at this area and get out alive, you can then visit Moisty Mires to get lots of wood to build with.
One of the best things you can do in Fortnite is find a town in the game you like the most and land there most of the time. The more you land at a particular place, the more you can learn about where the loot spawns and how to drop there to get to the ground as quickly as possible.
There are many different places to loot in Fortnite and quite frankly, the loot for all of these places is reasonably balanced.
The spots we've picked out in this list are some good starting points for collecting loot in Fortnite, but don't be afraid to venture out to the other places on the map. Most of the spots in Fortnite that haven't been mentioned here offer a moderate level of loot and moderate player population.
The highest population place, and most dangerous, is Tilted Towers - you'll have dozens of players landing there. If you want a chaotic place to land but don't quite want Tilted Tower levels of chaos, you can try Anarchy Acres or Pleasant Park.
We hope that this guide has been useful to you. Which spots do you like to land at in Fortnite? Are there any specific spots in this list that you think we should add to this list?
