One of the greatest things about Roblox is that all of the best games are created by the community. This means that there is never an end to the selection of games to browse through and there are constantly new great games that get released every month.
In this article we'll be focusing on some of the greatest. More specifically, some of the greatest Roblox shooting games. These 5 games always come out on top when you ask other Roblox players what their favorite games are.
All five of the games we have picked out are great fun to play with friends or on your own. Some games put you up against other players, whilst others let you team up with players and take down an AI threat together.
Phantom Forces is one of those Roblox shooting games that you'll pick up and get addicted to within minutes.
Phantom Forces is such a fulfilling game that it almost feels like a standalone experience.
Let's first start with the customization. As you play, you will be rewarded with crates that include new weapons and new customization options for your character. You can also change your weapons' optics and other attachments that can be unlocked whilst playing.
Phantom Forces also has a level system that makes it rewarding to play for longer.
On top of all this, Phantom Forces has absolutely nailed first person shooter mechanics within Roblox. The gun mechanics are fluid and realistic. The maps are well designed and there are a variety of game modes to keep things interesting for longer.
What's most exciting about Phantom Forces is that it actually takes some practice to get good. You can be rewarded for being a skilled player and you aren't able to just buy your way to victory.
The developer is also constantly adding new updates with additional maps, customization options, and new weapons.
In summary, Phantom Forces is a prime example of what all Roblox games should strive to be.
Counter Blox Roblox Offensive is as close as you could possibly get to the real CS:GO experience, but for free.
If you've played CS:GO, you'll be surprised at just how similar Roblox Offensive is. Everything from the maps to the player models, weapons, and round based defusal game mode have been reconstructed in Roblox.
Unlike CS:GO, this particular Roblox shooting game is completely free to play. Despite being free, Roblox Offensive stays fair and ensures that players can't purchase weapons to be used in-game.
Instead, players have to get kills and win rounds to get more money, which can then be spent on better weapons and equipment during the next round.
The gun mechanics are fairly similar to CS:GO too, although not exactly the same. Headshots can still one-hit your enemies and rifles still have recoil, but the recoil acts quite differently in Roblox Offensive.
I'd say that the gun mechanics are a little toned down compared to CS:GO, which actually means the game is easier to get to grips with.
One of the most popular shooting game genres right now is the battle royale genre. Fortnite is leading the way and Island Royale tries to replicate what has made Fortnite so incredible.
Island Royale starts off the same way as Fortnite. You start in the lobby. From here, you can invite friends, look in the shop for skins, and customize your character.
Once you're ready to go into a game, you can choose solo, duo, or squad, then press ready. Once the game starts, you will be put into a waiting area with other players for a short while before you're all thrown into the Island Royale party bus.
You get to choose when to leave the party bus and parachute down to the ground. At this point, the objective is to find as many weapons and materials as possible.
Island Royale has the same destruction and building mechanics that Fortnite has, which means you can cut down trees, walls, and rocks to gain materials for building ramps and defenses.
Like other battle royale games, the overall objective is to be the last man standing. As each game progresses, the play area will shrink, forcing players to come closer together.
There are some areas of Island Royale that feel a little rough around the edges, but if you're looking for a good Roblox battle royale experience, this is as close as you'll get.
Armored Patrol is a little different to other Roblox shooting games in this list. This one in particular focuses on vehicle based combat. When you first jump into Armored Patrol, you'll be given a variety of military vehicles and tanks to choose from.
You can then roll into combat and start shooting at the enemy team. If you perform well, you will level up and you will be able to access more powerful vehicles including attack choppers and jets.
Armored Patrol does need a bit of work as far as the user interface goes, but it's unique enough that these small issues can mostly be looked over.
Call of Roblox is the last game on our list and despite the name, it deviates quite far from the typical Call of Duty experience.
In Call of Roblox, there's more of a focus on teaming up with other players and taking down an AI threat. You must work together to kill waves of enemies and you get rewarded for doing so.
There are many additional weapons to try out, although some you will have to spend Robux on to unlock. The shooting mechanics are also very fluid and you have the option to play in both first person and third person mode.
If you're not a big fan of PVP shooting games, then Call of Roblox will give you the kind of experience you are looking for.
That wraps up our look at the top 5 Roblox shooting games. Have you tried any of these games before? If you have, which one is your favorite?
